Dear backers,

In this update we will go into the activities we have been working focused on since the Kickstarter project ended.

BackerKit

Thank you for filling out the surveys! We have a 95 % survey completion, and have now sent a reminder to the remaining 60 backers. The completion from these will not affect the orders of those who already completed the survey.

Feedback and product improvements

We listened to the feedback from the beta users and early shipment backers, and decided to make a product improvement. To make it easier to break the ice, so the ice doesn’t stick together, we have added a bigger ridge to the bottom end of the POP. That way, the bottom will be elevated slightly more and keep it off the surface, making it easier to press it down.

A small change that will make a big difference :-)

To the 99 SUPER EARLY SHIPMENT backers who received the first edition, we recommend that you elevate the bottom when breaking the ice:

Also, remember to press in the middle of the POP to break the ice – on top of the handles:

Obstacles

Unfortunately we are a bit behind schedule with the production of your ICEBREAKER POPs. We had given ourselves a time margin to work with and taken the Chinese new year into account, but because of unforeseen obstacles we now realize that we cannot ship the rewards in March as estimated.

The Covid-19 situation has slowed down the production, since our Chinese partners had to take some precautions. To control the situation, the Chinese government forced their citizens to stay home, which left our production partner without employees for a period. They are still not back to full workforce, but they expect to be so soon.

We hope that you understand our situation, and still look forward to get your rewards! 

We will ship them as soon as our partner is able to complete them. We will update you as soon as we have an estimate.

Deadline for survey completion 2nd January!

Dear Backers,

Most of you have already filled in our survey with color choice and address confirmation. Thank you very much! 

However, we are still missing data from some of you. If the survey is not completed by January 2nd, all remaining backers who have not answered the survey will automatically receive ICEBREAKER POP Water Blue. The reason for the short deadline is that we need to place the order at our manufacturer in order to keep the delivery schedule.

If, you have not received a  survey or lost it, do let us know in a message, so we can resend.

Lastly, we were unable to collect payment from some backers after our campaign ended, most likely because of incorrect credit card data or people having received a new credit card. In these cases, it is possible to pay the outstanding amount in BackerKit. If the amount is not paid, the products will not be shipped.
